Trolley tour along the Glan Valley
Experience a ride on an extraordinary vehicle through the idyllic Glan Valley. Like a bicycle, the trolley is powered by pedals. However, it runs on 4 wheels like a train on the track. Steering is therefore not necessary. On the trolley for a maximum of 4 people, 2 people pedal while the others can ride on a bench seat. (Draisine for 7 people: 3 pedalers and 4 passengers at the table).
The ride on the 40 km long (half the distance of 20 km is also possible) single-track trolley route runs from Altenglan to Staudernheim on odd-numbered days and from Staudernheim to Altenglan on even-numbered days.
There are stops at each location and approximately every 1.5 kilometers. There you can simply take a break or get to know the country and its people on a flying visit.
A special experience is the trolley tour in the evening (19:00 to 21:00). These tours can only be booked on a few days a year and cover 20 km from Altenglan to St. Julian and back.
